Restaurant NOA Review

Restaurant NOA review

Last year, as part of Tallinn Restaurant Week, I had lunch at Restaurant CRU – a chic and cosy place in the heart of Tallinn. Overall, I was very impressed with the atmosphere of this lovely place, the food they offered and the impeccable service. You can check out my review of Restaurant CRU for more details.

But, to be honest with you, the reason why I chose Restaurant CRU at that time, was because all seats in Restaurant NOA were already booked. I promised myself that for the next Tallinn Restaurant Week event, I will be ready from the very beginning to book my two seats for lunch at the very popular seaside restaurant, NOA. And I managed!

Here’s my opinion of Restaurant NOA in a nutshell.

Restaurant NOA Design

Boy, this place offers some views! We were sat at a lovely table, next to the window and despite the cloudy weather and the snow, there was something cool about having a glass of Prosecco, while admiring the beautiful sea.

Prosecco at Restaurant NOA

The Scandinavian decor was splendid, with its high ceilings, remarkable lightning and minimalistic furniture. NOA is the definition of a modern, truly beautiful restaurant.

Restaurant NOA Service

There’s nothing to criticise about the service at Restaurant NOA. The waiters and waitresses took great care of us, they were very attentive to ensure we have good experience and their smiles contributed to a positive, relaxed atmosphere.

Restaurant NOA Food

The lunch menu included two courses and during Tallinn Restaurant Week it was priced at 15 EUR:

“BABT” TROUT FILLET: rainbow trout, roe sauce

JOSPER BANANA: whiskey caramel sauce, lemongrass ice cream

I enjoyed both dishes, but as I am a sweet tooth, the dessert really impressed me and I’d definitely like to have it again!

Overall experience

I wanted to check out Restaurant NOA for so long and now that I finally did, I must admit I was not disappointed. I can only imagine how cool it is to chill on their outside lounge during summer, with one of those cucumber, apple & lime fresh cocktails. I loved its unique design, the delicious (and affordable) food and I was truly impressed with the great service.

I definitely recommend this place for tourists and locals alike and I will certainly come back.
